Replica portrait of the actor David Garrick one of history's finest acting talents who was responsible for revitalising the reputation of London's famous Drury Lane Theatre.

This was originally painted by Thomas Gainsborough in 1771 and although it looks quite plain, the silk shirt is actually boarded by some fine detail, which was very fun to paint.
