I have agreed with Amersham art gallery to do a selection of small affordable landscape scenes for a christmas range. One of them so far includes the Water cress mill at Little Chalfont, which is the first one I've just completed.

 My painting 'October morning shadows' was sold at  visit Amersham art gallery on Woodside road exhibition.

I have just been to visit Amersham art gallery on Woodside road, and they have accepted three pieces of my work for an up coming exhibition.

Finally, I have now manged get hold of my own picture framing equipment.

I've just finised a basics of framing course. I'm now going to start framing my own painting.

Now has a piece exhibited at Obsidian gallery in Buckinghamshire from the 7th of January too the 7th Feburary.

I have finished working on a new painting of Cromford canal. I am hoping to create a series of Cromford paintings in the future for sale.

I have just completed another landscape painting. It is a part contempory piece of a Welsh castle and landscape with a 19th century style colouring.

Well the day has finally arrived and James Hawksley Art is now a reality and it is nice to finally have a showcase for my work after years of waiting to develop a website. I would like to give a big thank you to all of the friends and family that have supported me over the last few years and who believed in both myself and my artwork.
